R.B. Hinkle Employee Receives the “My Brother’s Keeper” Award from KBR Building Group
One of the employees at R.B. Hinkle Construction was recently honored with a prestigious award from their customer KBR Building Group receiving the “My Brother’s Keeper Award” for going above and beyond in “looking out for the safety of his fellow workers and in this case for the public at large”. Miguel Urquilla received this award after working on the Hampden Lane Project in Bethesda, Maryland. Remarkable in receiving this award, Urquilla had to demonstrate safe practices above and beyond his fellow crew members and crew members of multiple KBR Construction projects.
The Hampden Lane Project included 60 new luxury condos in a seven-story building located outside of Washington, DC. R.B. Hinkle was responsible for the construction and installation of the power and communications systems for the entire project.
President Dina Holstead commented, “We are proud not only of the job Miguel has done in raising our safety awareness and commitment, but also of every member of our staff for embracing safe practices as a way of life on all of our projects.”
